Love is in the air… because Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know red and pink is forever one of my favorite color combos when it comes to styling. Hence, Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays 😉 Today, I’m bringing you inspiration for any V-Day event you might have, from dates to brunches with gal pals. Let’s get into it!

CASUAL CHIC
Nothing is more casual chic than a skater skirt with high tops, so of course, that’s exactly what I went with for this look. I balanced the light and airy pink color of the top and skirt with a harsher red denim jacket and Vans then threw on some gold accessories and chunky rings and viola! For your own casual chic look, take an edgy staple item (like the red jacket) and play it down with more feminine tones for a fun and fresh take on Valentine’s day style.

GALS WHO BRUNCH
This second Valentine’s Day look is the perfect mix of classy and playful that will never go out of style. My simple gold-button down layered underneath a red, ruffled bodysuit quickly becomes a show-stopper when paired with white culottes and shoes. I added a pop of red purse to complement the top and was ready to take on a brunch date with my galentines or significant other. An all-white look with pops of pink or red is best for the girl who wants to be festive, but not be very obviously dressing for Valentine’s Day.

NIGHT ON THE TOWN
For some, this romantic holiday is celebrated at night for an exciting date or event. Red is as romantic evening as it gets, so I layered a red mesh top over a thrifted, red, one-shouldered dress to add more volume. Clearly, accessories were needed, so I threw on a disco ball belt and bracelet with silver necklaces to match. If you’re going for the wow factor this valentine’s Day, a monochromatic red look with metallic pops is the way to go!

That’s it for this year’s Valentine’s Day looks! I hope you enjoyed this post and found inspiration for your own red and pink outfits this February 14th. Let me know in the comments which look was your favorite and drop any questions or blog post ideas you may have while you’re down there. Thanks so much for reading!
💜Love, Olivia
