It’s the holiday season, and debatably the most wonderful time of the year 🙂 I’m ready to spend time with family, to get cozy under blankets, to open presents, and to go to all the holiday events and dinners. More often than not, I find myself digging through my closet for hours trying to find the perfect outfit for said holiday occasions. Should I go for more of a dressy or casual look? What colors are ‘holiday’ colors? Should I wear boots or heels? All of these questions whirl through my head, and I’m sure they’ve gone through yours at one point or another.
Today, I’m sharing two holiday looks with you; one that’s more causal and one that’s more dressy. I hope that you find the holiday outfit inspiration you’ve been looking for, and remember that all my outfits are just a foundation for your own unique looks. Let’s get into it!
This look is centered around my wonderful, perfect-for-the-holidays plaid pants. I love the skinny fit and navy seam line on the pants, and pairing it a fuchsia, Victorian-type blouse seemed to be the way to go. Then, I used my pink ball earrings, color block flatform shoes, and thrifted green purse to spice up the look with accessories. When you’re searching for your own holiday outfits, darker jewel tones is perfect for those of you who don’t want to be all-out holiday, but at least a little festive 😉
RED & GOLD
The minute I laid eyes on this red jumpsuit, I knew it would be making its debut in my holiday lookbook. The holidays come during a cold part of the year where I live, so normally dresses are out of the question unless tights are worn underneath. This jumpsuit is the perfect dressy alternative to warmer weather wear. Coupled with my gold blouse and silver accessories, I felt like a present in the best way possible! Trade out your dresses for a jumpsuit this season, bundle up with some cute layers, and voila: a festive and fun holiday look!
