Sister Style: Be My Valentine

As you probably know (because it comes the same time every year), VALENTINE’S DAY IS SOON!! And with that comes the perfect opportunity for us fashion bloggers, especially those who loveeee the color red like me, to pull out all their fun and flirty pieces while it’s still winter. Also, V-Day is the holiday of love, and who do I love more than my sister, Camille? Answer: no one. And I took that as an opportunity to put Sister Style #3 into action to show our lurv for each other, and take advantage of the fact that Camille’s closet is ripping at the seams with the color pink!

I’ve mentioned it before, but Camille and my styles are very different, which is semi-evident in this post. For my Valentine’s Day outfit, I went with a street style look because that’s what I’m best at rocking. I wore my red zip-up denim dress and a sheer velvet-star printed bodysuit underneath; both from Forever 21. The two pieces set off each other nicely, and paired with my pink ball earrings and high top Vans, they’re a look to beat! I braided my hair into half-up half-down dutch braids to complete the flirty and sweet vibes already radiating off of the outfit.

Camille created a more cozy-casual look, perfect for a night-in with your girls for Galentine’s Day. With her cute cable knit light pink sweater, jeans, and high tops with gingham laces; she is doing no wrong in the style department! To add a pop of red into the whole shabang, I braided a red ribbon into her hair, which is super easy to do, so I totally recommend it to you guys πŸ™‚ My sissy also added small gold touches with her Anthropologie earrings, watch, and other bracelets. Woohoo, I’m loving it!!

Also, watch out professional photographers! Camille took all the photos of me, and I took the photos of her with my dad stepping in to snap the photos of both of us πŸ™‚ And I’ve never seen better!

Our library downtown had its grand opening the day we were shooting, and this mural was one of the many masterpieces made. It’s made from bookmarks that other kids doodled on; I mean, how cool! Camille couldn’t resist a twirl in front of it.

My Outfit: Red Denim Dress (similar) // Pink Star Bodysuit // Vans (I added the pom poms myself)

Camille’s Outfit: Pink Sweater (similar, ON SALE!) // Anthro Earrings (similar) // Pink High Tops

Shooting with my sister always is a great time, and I can say that this day was 100% that! I hope you all enjoyed both of these Valentine’s Day looks, and that you will take inspiration from them for your own outfits πŸ™‚ Leave a comment below on what us sisters should style next, and feel free to ask any questions you may have. I’m a open book! Thanks so much for reading, and for all the wonderful support and love you guys always show me!

πŸ’œLove, Olivia
