Woohoo!! Week 3 of my 30 Day Styling Challenge is done 🙂 If you haven’t heard of this challenge by now, check out my Week 1 and Week 2 post, but I’ll also include a little summary of what exactly it is. For all of January, I am styling outfits with stand-out pieces, outfits with overloads of accessories, outfits using only one color, and more; all to help me work towards the cool and unique wardrobe I’m looking for.
Last week, I was having to go out of my way to think about each outfit to make sure they were as different as possible in order to make the most out of this challenge! Now, I’m not having to think about it as much and pairing clothing items to make an outside-of-the-box look is becoming easier by the day. And that is exactly what I was hoping to accomplish in these 30 days! I’ve enjoyed being able to look in the mirror and say, “This outfit is as Olivia as it gets,” for each and every #ootd I’ve worn in this past week. It’s an incredible feeling. And I want you to feel it, too!
After you read this post, I challenge you to go to your closet and create an outfit that is so YOU, but you’ve been scared to try, or pull out all your fav clothing items and accesories and make an entire outfit out of them! Try mixing patterns, adding a bright pop of color, going monochrome for a day, or go all out with layering. It can definitely be hard to go out of your comfort zone, especially when it comes to something so public like your outfit, but I encourage all of you to try it like I have. And trust me, you’ll LOVE IT!!
On Friday, I was feeling a little spicy, and even though it was raining outside, I powered through in my yellow corduroy skirt and fuchsia blouse. This has to be one of my cutest and classiest outfits to date and this won’t be the last time you see me wearing it! Next time you go out on a warmer day, instead of having one pop of color, choose two 🙂

I know, this outfit is nothing extraordinary, but I spent Saturday volunteering at a Children’s Hospital and needed to wear something casual that I could move around in. So I went with this soft teal sweater and my light wash jeans.
Sunday was chilly, but I really wanted to wear a cropped sweater, so I solved the problem by layering a turtleneck underneath it. The style actually turned out cuter than I expected, and I will be utilizing the turtleneck trick for the rest of my cropped tops this Winter. You should definitely try it out for yourself!!

And we’ve finally made it to Monday, the day I wore my most Olivia outfit of the week. Not gonna lie, I was totally feelin’ myself this day, and was channeling my inner high fashion street style. Members Only always comes through with the dopest jackets, and I can say that this Cinderella blue bomber MADE this entire look. Ugh, just looking at this photo makes me want to go put on this outfit! (Also, little secret: I bought these sunnies at Urban Outfitters 5 minutes before I took this shot :))

I swear to you guys the sweater above is the absolute softest EVER!! Not to mention the sleeves and pattern are killer. Tuesday was all about having a chill look because it was the first day back to school in 3 days, and I had exams. Although, they aren’t pictured, by I did pop on a pair of heels with this outfit to spice it up a little 😉 Wearing a nice pair of shoes with a casual look is perfect to create a stylish outfit without sacrificing too much comfort.
Another day, another suede jacket that only costed 49 cents. I really wanted to wear the sweater underneath the jacket because a) it’s comfy as heck and b) it’s super stylish, but needed a way to jazz up the whole look. That’s why I threw on the gray suede coat and my fav gold necklace (you won’t catch me with gold accessories often!). Next time you’re wearing your favorite sweater, put on an equally stand-out jacket on top 🙂
Even though this is what I wore on Thrusday, I mainly wanted to include this look to show that repeating outfits is A-OK! The majority of people are outfit-repeaters (haha Lizzie McGuire reference), including me. This “More Self-Love” tee is so incredibly cute and wearing it with some stylish sweats made the best athleisure look. Try wearing your fav cropped tee with sweats, and add some jewelry to up the fashion aspect!
And there you have it, this week’s ootd round-up! I hope you all enjoyed seeing these 7 outfits and are inspired to try going out of your own comfort zone in the fashion world. Leave a comment below letting me know which outfit of mine you would re-create with clothing from your own, and feel free to drop any questions or blog post ideas you may have as well. Thanks so much for reading, and I can’t wait to share with you the final 12 outfits!!
💜Love, Olivia
