Week 2 of the 30 Day Styling Challenge is complete! If you don’t know what the challenge is, you can check out my last post about this: 30 Day Styling Challenge Intro + The First Four Outfits, but I’ll give you a quick run-down right here as well. For all of January, I am styling outfits with stand-out pieces, outfits with overloads of accessories, outfits using only one color, and more; all to help me work towards the cool and unique wardrobe I’m looking for.
It’s crazy, yet cool how different this week’s outfits are from each other. Each day, I tried to create something unique and add my own special twist to what my regular everyday look would be. This challenge is definitely helping me to push my limits, think “What could make this outfit more me?”, and not to mention it has helped me wear clothing items that have been sitting untouched for too long. So far, I’ve loved waking up and putting together new looks everyday, and I hope you enjoy these next 7 and get ready for 19 more AMAZING outfits!!
Friday called for a more casual look, but I didn’t want to sacrifice my style just yet. I took this comfy look up a notch by adding a belt with gold fleur-de-lis and my pink vans with pom poms! Next time you’re wearing a sweatshirt with jeans, try adding a belt or stand-out shoes to make the look more unique.
Ripped Jeans (similar) // Vans (I added the poms myself)
I’ve wanted to try layering a top under a dress for the longest time and never got around to it, so I figured church was the perfect excuse! I love how cute this turned out, and 10/10 will be doing it again in the very near future 🙂
Gray Turtleneck (on sale!) // Striped Dress (similar)
All black was on my outfits-to-try list for this month, yet I wore this outfit not for myself, but to show my solidarity with sexual assault victims. Like I posted about in my blog this past Tuesday, an organization called TimesUp is doing a phenomenal job at bringing awareness to sexual assault. One of TimesUp initiatives was #WhyWeWearBlack, so this past Monday that’s the color I wore.
B&W Cardigan (similar) // Black Turtleneck // Ripped Jeans are same from above
Staying with the monochromatic theme, I wore head to toe light blue with a pop of red to separate the colors out. The suede jacket was definitely the stand-out piece in this look, so you probably won’t believe me when I tell you it was 49 CENTS!!!T I dare you all to try your own monochromatic look and let me know how you liked it.
Light Blue Suede Coat (similar, mine was thrifted) // Red Tee (similar) // Light Wash Jeans // Blue Mules (on sale!!)
Although this photo isn’t this highest quality, I feel like it’d be hard to find an outfit more ‘Olivia’ than this. Everything from the red denim jacket with a patch that reads “We should all be feminists.” to the black flat forms and silver jewelry is so me! Also, the beige striped mock neck top gives me total Kallie Kaiser vibes (if you don’t know by now, she’s my style icon), so that just makes this look that much greater in my book 😉
Red Denim Jacket (on sale!!) // Feminist Patch (on sale!!) // Embroidered Jeans (similar)// Flatforms (50% off!!)
This look is one of my favorite, so I had to pull it out at some point this month. I had thrifted the over-sized denim jacket, and decided it needed a little something more, so i sewed on the pink pearls! My fav outfit combo with the jacket is this light pink and white striped top, and my dark denim jeans (not pictured).
Pink Striped Shirt (similar) // Dark Jeans // Over-sized Denim Jacket (similar)
That rounds up this week’s ootds! I hope you all are still enjoying the 30 Day Style challenge, and getting inspired to step outside of the box in your own everyday outfits. Leave a comment below with a style I should try this month, and feel free to drop any questions or blog post ideas you may have while you’re down there. Thanks for reading and all the love and support you all have been giving me lately!!
💜Love, Olivia

I love all of these outfits, Especially the last two! The jacket with the pink pearls is so beautiful ❤ I would love to see any style that goes well when hair is done up in a bun (I always have my hair this way but unless I’m wearing a jumper covering my neck i look strangely tall 😂 with a normal shirt I always feel like I should add jewellery or a scarf to even it out so would definitely read tips on how to style out an outfit so as to avoid this! 😄❤

Oooo thanks for the idea. I will try and include something to help you in next week’s 30 Day post 🙂 But first I will have to figure out how to wrangle my hair into a bun 😂
