Christmas is over and it’s time to return to our regular lives… right? WRONG! New Year’s is coming, baby, and that means partying it up until midnight, hanging out with all your besties, and funky outfits full of bling. So, of course (you probably saw this coming), today I’m here to fill all your New year’s outfit needs. I’ve carefully selected my most sparkly-est, black, gold, and silver looks to help inspire you all in your New Year outfit ventures ;).
If your New Year’s Eve is just another Girl’s Night Out, look no further. Denim jackets with a fur collar are popping up in stores more and more lately, but they haven’t become mainstream yet. The upcoming holiday is the perfect excuse to get ahead of the trend and buy one for yourself! I paired my black denim fur-collared jacket with a fuchsia bodysuit and a (thrifted!) leather skirt. This outfit is fun and a bit flirty, and goof for any girly girl. 🙂
STREET STYLE SPARKLE
This outfit is the ultimate street style/model-off-duty look. With the glistening gray cropped sweater, sparkly high-waisted pants, and unique throw-on shoes; the casualness of this OOTD is apparent, but not without a bunch of style! Put your own twist on this look with a more metallic sweater and sequined pants.
This silver hoodie has been featured more than once on AO, but this New Year’s post called for it to make a return. Worn over a loose black dress (perfect for dancing!) and with a B&W cardigan to weather the cold, the metallic look is unbeatable. I highly encourage layering a stand-out hoodie/jacket/sweatshirt over your little black dress for your New Year’s Eve outfit.
HINT OF GOLD
With this last look, you could easily be a thief in the night. My dark denim jeans and black OTK boots give off a sleek, minimalistic-chic vibe, and my black shirt with gold sparkles creates the right amount of flash for a New Year’s look. This outfit isn’t hard to re-create for yourself, just piece together your fav dark pieces with a metallic pop and you’ll be all set!
That’s it for this New Year’s Lookbook! I hope you all enjoyed this post and got some inspiration for your own New Year’s outfit.
