It’s been a while since a new post has graced the Beauty page of my website, so I figured now is better than never! Today, I’m sharing a bronze-y eye shadow look that I completed using the drug store palette, The Nudes from Maybelline, and like to wear during the fall time. It’s not too hard to do, and can be easily recreated using similar eye shadow shades. Also, for all my fellow blue-eyed gals out there, bronze eye looks really make our eyes pop, so be sure to try this next time you are looking for a new look!
I started out by brushing the shade closest to my skin tone (third from the left on the top row) all over my lid and crease. Then, as a transition shade I used the light brown shimmer shade that is second on the top row.
For the outer V area of my eye, I blended together the two dark browns on the bottom left, and sweeped them on with a thicker crease brush. To darken up the outer V and get a little more color going, I added the 4th shadow on the top row (the most gorgeous shimmer shade out of the whole palette) with an angled brush.
For the lid itself, I brushed on the orange-y gold color that is third on the bottom row, and that created a beautiful glimmer whenever I closed my eyes! Then, using the same angled brush I had for the last two steps, mixed together the shadows I used on the outer V and placed them under my eye to give the look a bit of a smokey feel.
Lastly, I took the very first shade on the top row onto my finger and put it into my inner corner to brighten my eyes. And there you have it:
I hope you all enjoyed this quick little make-up post and gained some inspiration for your own bronze fall look! Although you can’t tell as much from the photos, the shimmer and shine on these shadows really show and enhance the eye color. Let me know in the comments below what your go-to eye shadow color scheme is, and feel free to drop any other questions or blog post ideas you may have while you’re down there. Thanks for reading everyone!
