Casually waiting to be handed my movie tickets.
You always hear about little black dresses, but I’m here to tell you about my favorite little white dress. Personally, I don’t like just wearing a solid black or white dress, there has to be something special to it. And in this dress’ case that something special is a colorful embroidery that is quite beautiful. Flowers, butterflies, and a peacock were stitched along the bottom and left shoulder, the neck of the dress has bits of lace around it, and the sleeves have a pattern of cut-outs on the edge. It is a fit ‘n flare style and once on, this dress is stunning! I paired this little white dress with a pair of gray-blue Steve Madden block heels, two simple chain necklaces, and a few rings.
This little white dress is from a site called StyleWe, and not going to lie I thought the online store was a little sketch at first. I ordered 2 dresses from there and they both came within a month and are of excellent quality! If you need a piece right away, I would not recommend this site for you, but other than that you should totally check it out. All the dresses are extremely unique and pretty affordable!
No, I didn’t go crazy with my blush! I was trying out a technique called draping (sort of like contouring with blush) that was all over the runways, and I think it fit the outfit nicely.
See? How cool is the detailing on this dress?!!
Honestly, one of my favorite things about this dress is how well it photographs! All the pictures turned out so well and they were all taken in a little abandoned town called Cairo in Illinois. On Wednesday, a post will be up about the Behind the Scenes of this shoot, so make sure you’re following along to know when that is up on this blog. I hoped you enjoyed this post and gained some style/shopping inspo from it. Thanks for reading!
