Brow Routine

Processed with VSCO with g3 preset

Some of you may have noticed this already, but I’m going to say it anyway.  My eyebrows are, for the most part, non-existent (if you don’t believe me look at the second picture in this post!).  Although, that doesn’t mean I have to walk around with no eyebrows all the time.  In the last month or so, I began to fill them in whenever I was going out or had a shoot for Absolutely Olivia.  Since I don’t have much brow to work with, it’s easy for me to make them look exactly how I want.  In the next few sentences, I’m going to explain and show my brow routine!

The Before:

Basically nothing. 🙂

The product I use on my eyebrows is the Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) Dip Brow in the shade Blonde and the brush I use is a small angled one from Wet ‘n Wild.  Both work extremely well.

I start off by brushing a little bit of the Dip Brow upwards along my brow using the angled brush.  This is just to get a little color going so I can see my eyebrow better.

Brush upwards with the wide part of the brush.

Then, I draw a line underneath my brow that follows the shape I eventually want my brow to have, almost like an outline.  Quick little side note:  If you are using the ABH Dip Brow less is more.  I’ve made the mistake of putting too much product in one place, so I recommend wiping some of the product onto the side of the jar.  There only needs to be a tad on your brush, especially if you are going for more of a natural look, like me.

Next, I brush through the front of my brow with more product, and as I get towards the arch and the end of my brow I angle my brush more to slim out that part of the eyebrow. Angling the brush as you get more towards the end creates a thick to thin look that isn’t boxy.  I repeat this step continuously until my brows are darkened and shaped how I like.

Angle the brush so it draws a thinner line.

Then, just like I did at the beginning, I make a light outline, but instead of it being at the bottom I do it at the top.  This makes the brows look more finished. For the final step, I brush through with a spooly and shape my eyebrows a little more until they are absolutely perfect!  Well, at least as close to perfect as possible.😂

My Brow Routine is quite simple, but is easy to complete when you are trying to get out the door fast.  This is definitely something simple for any beginners, like me, out there. Feel free to comment below any suggestions or questions you may have.  As always, thanks for reading!

  1. Thin brows use to be in…now its thicker brows. Which one is it?! lol your brows look really natural without overdoing it which can be easy. Also one tip: I run warm coconut oil over mine at night at it helps them grow tremendously!

  2. this is so creepy, but your second picture look exactly like my friend… like i thought she had sent in her pic (cuz she’s taken pictures like that and IT LOOKS LIKE HER it’s crazyyy) just, she has light reddish hair 🙂 But literally, her eyebrows are the same way, and she has to fill them in too! Great tips btw 🙂
