Today, I am starting a new series on my blog called Top 10! I have been wanting to do a series for a while now, and since I have never done one before, I thought Top 10 was the perfect one to begin with. It is quick and easy, but I feel like you can learn a lot about the subject the Top 10 is on and a lot about me at the same time!
For my first post, I am doing my top 10 accessories. I love being able to jazz clothing up or add that perfect “je ne sais quoi” with jewelry. The smallest rings can create a subtle pop of color and tie together any outfit As they say, it’s all in the details!
I will link where I got the items in the caption of the photos!
1. Leather Belt
This leather belt from J. Crew hadn’t been a part of my daily ensemble until recently, when I realized how easily it can make an outfit better. This classic brown belt was a perfect tie-in to my similarly colored coat in my post, Solo Style: Camel Coat Staple, as you can see down below.
2//3. Pull-Through Earrings and Geometric Earrings
Both of these earrings are excellent statement pieces and really speak for themselves. Therefore, I love to wear them with all black outfits. I get comments on the earrings everywhere I go! Instead of writing a bad explanation as to how they work (since they look a little confusing by themselves), I have inserted pictures, so you can see for yourself.

4. Simple Gold Rings
I adore rings, especially ones that you can stack and interchange easily and to your liking. They always create a bit of flashy-ness and make your look a little more fashionable. It may seem as if I have too many, but that only means the possibilities are endless!
5. White Band Watch
I have had this watch from Francesca’s for over a year and it still amazes me at how much it brings to an outfit. Watches are small, but whether they are noticed or not, they always create a special feel/look.
6. DVF Gold Hoops
These Diane von Furstenburg hoops were a present to me for Christmas and I have worn them almost every day since. These earrings are different than the usual gold hoops because of the beautiful ridging along the side.
7. Astrology and Monogram Rings
You will normally catch me wearing gold, but if an outfit calls for silver pieces, these two are my go-to. I got the monogram ring for a present 2 years ago, and its square shape is so cool! The small, pinky ring with stars and moons was my mom’s when she was a kid, and is unique and unlike anything I have seen lately.
8. Hair Pieces
I, just like everyone else, have days when I just want to throw my hair in a ponytail and go, but with these hair ties I can still look cute. The colors and texture of the hairbands on the left add a certain oomph to an otherwise basic hairstyle. Also, the clear, spiral bands sink into your hair when you wear them, creating the illusion that there is no hair tie holding you hair up!
COLORED SCRUNCHIES: WOO COSMETICS
9. Pearl Drop Earrings
These earrings are charming and my favorite ones to wear when working out or playing tennis. They are lightweight and give class to my athletic wear.
10. Black Sunglasses
Whether you are a minimalist or all about colorful clothing, everyone needs a pair of basic black sunnies. They’ll go with anything and I think it’s a good idea to keep them by the door or in your purse, so in case you forget your other ones, you have these as a back up! I wore these beauties one of my first solo styles, OVER it ALL.
Thanks so much for reading and be on the lookout for more posts in my Top 10 series. I have tons of great ideas for it and cannot wait to share them with you!
